Corporate Account Director

As a Corporate Account Director, you will be working closely with Medix Biochemica’s top 20 strategic partners (corporate accounts), primary focus on:
Leadership and management of Medix Biochemica’s corporate account team including senior level corporate account managers and inside sales.
C-Suite and leadership engagement and management for selecting strategic partners, including commercial, manufacturing and R&D globally. Selling mission critical components and solutions, including but not limited to antigens, antibodies, biological materials, enzymes, QC as well as solutions and services.
This role requires a candidate with strong IVD sales leadership and strategic partnership expertise, and will require a solid understanding of the clinical biochemistry & immunoassay markets, bringing in strong global connections with Tier 1-3 IVDs and major laboratory networks. You are a strong team leader, with strong organizational skills and project management skills, client communications, client management and service, product expertise, and critical thinking. You will be working as part of global Medix Biochemica Commercial function and sales team.

Key Responsibilities:
Leads team to achieve sales targets for Medix Biochemica’s top 20 strategic partners, by leading a strategic sales process, being accountable for revenue, margin and unit goals.
Mentors and leads corporate account team with best practices, engaging with strategic partners from R&D through to commercialization.
This role will require networking at various levels within targeted client organizations from C-level executives to management.
Performs sales analysis and builds out near, mid & long-term forecast models.
You will be the key person in defining overall strategy with our top strategic partners, developing a road map to capture key new products, opportunities, presenting proposals and managing senior level negotiations and contract agreements.
Driving business reviews with our strategic customer, presenting current business performance, growth areas and key projects, enabling future partnership growth.
Guide and lead their team to deliver a solution-oriented sales process that will involve cross functional teams and will require strong project management.
Manage and communicate customer demand and liase with internal production on priorities & delivery expectations.
Coordinate product delivery requirements between the customer and production.
Provide input to strategic planning & New Product Development pipeline and reviews.
Drive international brand awareness including global roadshows and tradeshows.
Knowledge, Experience, qualification and technical Skills
Required:
A track record of sustained sales growth and managing a sales team.
10+ years’ experience in a IVD related sales management role, focusing on B2B strategic partnerships and/or corporate account management.
Biochemistry & Immunoassay expertise.
BSc and/or MSc in a Science related discipline.
A team player inspiring and developing others and can partner closely with our strategic alliances.
Strong communication skills inc. presentation, comfortable with presenting to a senior and C-suite level.
Strong project management experience, driving and leading change, striving for continuous improvement.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Demonstrating strong business acumen and commercial judgment, prioritizing what matters most to customers.
Desirable:
A strong global IVD network and connections with Tier 1-3 IVDs and laboratory networks is highly desirable.
MBA highly desirable.
Advanced Excel and finance skills to support forecasting & pricing.
