Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

Main responsibilities:
The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator is responsible for processing all inbound receipts, inspect for accuracy, record receipts, follow up with suppliers on discrepancies, distribute materials where necessary, assist with Cycle Counting, support shipping & general operations of the warehouse. This includes but not limited to:
- Maintain inventories for warehouse and manufacturing supplies and reorder as needed (chemicals, filters, Manufacturing attire, tubes, bottles)
- Receive inbound materials completing necessary documentation, placing in temperature controlled areas
- Package outgoing customer orders and prepare required documentation for domestic and international shipments
- Maintain logs for forklift and backup generator, notify supervisor of maintenance needed
- Maintain freezer/cold box inventories and assist in cycle counts
- Separate, sort, and label plasma upon receipt and when necessary
- Maintain organized freezer and warehouse Work towards achieving OKR’s
- Complete daily movement forms and all necessary documents accurately
- Maintain safe and clean work environment by following current good manufacturing practices (cGMP), and standard operating procedures
- Support special projects and complete additional duties as needed
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong communication & interpersonal skill
- Strong knowledge of modern warehousing practices in a cGMP environment
- Critical thinking ability and a proactive approach to problem solving
- Understands & follow guidelines for ISO, FDA, DOT etc.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and inventory management software
- Able to operate forklift and general warehouse machinery
- Bilingual Spanish and English is a plus
Education and/or Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience working in warehousing processing receipts
- Experience with Shipping/Receiving, Inventory Control, Inventory Reconciliation, Batch/Lot Tracking, Cycle Counting, Yearly Physical Inventory
- Highschool diploma or GED required, Associate degree in health science or related discipline is preferred.

Reasoning Ability
- Ability to define problems, establish facts and draw valid conclusions as well as the capability to collect data and organize effectively.
Computer Skills
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should be knowledgeable of Microsoft Office package, ERP system (Oracle NetSuite preferred), and should be a fast and efficient general computer user, being able to learn additional programs.
Math Ability
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals (simple amounts such as discounts, percentages, volumes and conversion factors).
Communication Skills
- Strong written and verbal skills are required. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community. Needs to be able to communicate with inter-department and outer-department coworkers to relay and intake relevant information.
