Role Overview
The Global Corporate Account Manager (CAM) is a senior, high-impact commercial role responsible for managing and expanding Medix Biochemica’s most strategic global customers. Acting as the global commercial owner, the role drives long-term value creation through partnerships, strategic account planning, and enterprise-wide commercial execution. It sits at the intersection of upstream raw material supply and the innovation roadmaps of the world´s largest diagnostic manufacturers.
The role holds ownership of assigned corporate accounts and acts as the global commercial interface; this is for a proven commercial leader who understands the IVD value chain from the inside. The ideal candidate knows how raw materials, reagent components and platform technologies underpin finished diagnostic products, and can engage at the highest levels of global diagnostic organization to shape multi-year supply and develop partnerships.
Reporting to the Senior Corporate Accounts Director, with active C-level and Board support, the CAM holds full global ownership of a portfolio of Tier 1 IVD corporate accounts. The role demands both strategic depth to develop enterprise-level partnership and the commercial drive to expand share of wallet, open new customer sites and win new programs within the world´s most sophisticated diagnostic companies. With a growth mind-set, the CAM is expected to cultivate strong partnerships while consistently leveraging those relationships to open new sites and expand Medix Biochemica´s presence.
Key Responsibilities
Global Account Ownership
Holding end‑to‑end global responsibility for assigned Tier‑1 corporate accounts across all geographies.
Engaging with customer sites personally, maintaining proximity to both local and global leadership teams.
Building, owning and expanding direct relationships with executive decision‑makers.
Partnering with internal Medix Biochemica’s executives to support and advance customer engagement at the highest levels of the organization.
Aligning and co-operating with regional sales, operations, and technical teams behind a single global account strategy, making sure we are winning together.
Serving as a single point of contact and primary commercial interface to customer leadership globally.
Taking care of customer centricity, translating voice-of-customer-insights into new business, portfolio and R&D.
Accountability for global revenue, profitability, growth targets, forecasting, and risk management across assigned accounts.
Maintaining high standards of CRM discipline, pipeline visibility and executive reporting.
Strategic Partnership
Developing and executing global account strategies aligned with customer objectives and Medix Biochemica’s long‑term growth ambitions.
Developing and driving an annual internal strategic account plan for each assigned account.
Shaping and growing enterprise‑level partnerships, including platform agreements, long‑term supply frameworks and co‑development collaborations.
Champion on value‑based, strategic relationships, moving beyond transactional selling to long‑term mutual growth.
Personally leading complex global negotiations, including pricing structures, long‑term contracts and strategic supply agreements.
Aligning commercial frameworks across regions to ensure consistent global pricing, terms and value propositions.
Proactively managing commercial, supply, regulatory and geopolitical risks.
Customer Insight, Portfolio & Innovation Influence
Maintaining a deep understanding of customer technology platforms, innovation pipelines and strategic priorities.
Leveraging AI-enabled tools to manage account intelligence, anticipate customer needs and inform commercial strategy.
Capturing and translating voice‑of‑customer insights from senior stakeholders to influence portfolio, R&D focus and investment decisions.
Supporting early engagement on new technologies, platforms and long‑term roadmap alignment.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in biological sciences or a related life‑science discipline.
10+ years of progressive commercial experience within IVD, diagnostics or life sciences, with strong preference for experience in upstream raw materials, reagent components or OEM supply.
Strong technical understanding of immunoassays, molecular diagnostics and the role of upstream raw materials as well as the value quality control products bring to diagnostic manufacturing workflows.
Proven track record of owning and growing Tier‑1 global or corporate accounts.
Demonstrated success engaging, influencing and negotiating with senior leadership.
Advanced commercial judgment with strong negotiation, financial and contract‑management capability.
Ability to operate in a complex, global, matrixed organisations with a high degree of autonomy.
Additional Information
Extensive domestic and international travel (40–60%), with regular in‑person engagement at key customer sites worldwide.
Location within Europe or North America, aligned with global account coverage and customer proximity.
